Smoky Flavor w/o Meat

Black cardamom pods

Instructions:

Black cardamom has a unique smoky flavor and can be used to flavor dishes that normally have smoked meat, such as baked beans or bean soup. For example, use 3 pods per lb of dried beans and soak overnight.
