Many things have happened throughout the course of this year, but one of the most important things for me is the process of Daniel and me moving forward from vegetarian to vegan. As I have become more knowledgeable over the years about what actually goes on "behind the scenes" in the animal world, I have become so sick and remorseful for all the animals that are so brutally killed for food, clothing and cosmetics, or cruelly experimented on in labs that I won't stand for it anymore. I am actively doing whatever I can to help save as many animals as possible until animals are no longer used and abused. Since I don't see our disgustingly greedy race (humans) becoming 100% compassionate in this lifetime, I plan to fight until the day I die for those who cannot speak human language in order to pitifully beg for mercy.

I am posting links to websites and videos that I personally promote. For those of you who are open-minded enough to take a look at what goes on in the "real world," feel free to read through the sites and watch the videos. Next time you sit down to enjoy your animal-abused meal, put on the dead skin of innocent animals, or use a product that was so needlessly tested on an animal which has little to no genetic similarity to humans anyway, I would like you to think of the pitiful look in these animals' eyes and hear the fear and pain in their screams. Would you subject a newborn human baby to the hideous suffering these animals go through simply because he or she was viewed as being "weaker" than the rest of the human race and couldn't speak our language to plead for his or her life? Of course not! So why should intelligent, conscious animals that have feelings and emotions just like we do be put to death in horribly gruesome manners to feed the greed of humans? Animals were not put here for us to use and abuse. They were put here to share Mother Earth as our companions and friends. They have as much a right and desire to live out a natural, happy life with their own kind as humans do. They don't deserve the torture our truly weak race puts them through.

I had a very interesting question asked of me in a survey I received from one of the multiple survey sites I'm signed up with. It was a survey on Improvement of Life and the question was: What do you dislike about religion? It was a question I had several answers quickly come to my mind for, but I seriously thought about it and decided on the following: "I don't like how it's preached to people. I don't believe many of the things most religions preach. I have my own set of beliefs that I'm happy with and I hate it when people force the beliefs of their religion on me. No one knows if their set of beliefs are the correct ones, so no human should have the right to say anyone else's religion is wrong." Interesting question? I think so.

Hey everyone! Welcome to my page. Thanks to my wonderful husband (and I do mean HOT!...uh, I mean, WONDERFUL!) I now know how to update, so hopefully I'll be able to add more as time goes on.

As for right now, I'm busy with school at the Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton. I'm halfway through my fourth semester, with the hopes of being done in May of 2005.

Since I'm busy with classes and my internship, as the baker for The Mobile Chef in Appleton, I don't have much time for extracurricular activities. However, one of my best friends, Sarah Matthews, a flute performance major at Lawrence University in Appleton, asked me if I would like to play a duet with her for her senior recital May 22nd! Of course I said yes, and I feel honored to play at her recital. She is one of the most talented flute players I've ever known and has been a wonderful friend for four years. I can't wait until May! School will be over for the semester and I will be playing for a fun recital!

Until later, have an awesome day! And to all you skateboarders out there, you rock!...to fakie... ;)
