[Daniel] Back.

Xmas was excellent. After two nice long weekends seeing Mom & Dad S. (and Jaimie), we're feeling a little refreshed. The weather here is crazy. One day it's 85* outside, the next it's 35*. But it was nice every day we were up in Dallas/Fort Worth so no complaints.



Bear's been very happy. He got to meet Jaimie for the first time and was happy to go out into the backyard to "Bear"-el roll in the grass, free of his leash. He's also been getting another round of walks (now first thing in the morning, in the late afternoon and one in the evening) so he's up to 3 per day and losing a couple pounds, thankfully. He's a little obese (40lbs instead of 28lbs) even though we fed him exactly what the vet recommended so he's dieting.



And the little brat found his food bag (Ziplock gallon size) inside the bag (standard plastic target bag) we were storing all his stuff in up at Mom & Dad S.'s the night day before New Year's Eve. Mom, Moriah and I were out shopping and Dad had gone to take a shower. He snuck in and chewed three muzzle-sized holes, one in the Target bag to get at the food, one in his bread bag to eat all of the remaining slices (supposed to be used for feeding him his medication) and one in his food bag where he ate a good serving or two! Then he snuck back out to the living room as though nothing had happened. He had everyone fooled until I went to feed him that evening and all his remaining food spilled out on the floor! Needless to say, we were not that pleased with him.



Other than that, not too much going on. Remarkable Framework has received a bunch of downloads (121 at this time) so that's been positive though I've gotten no feedback yet. I'm going to get back to it sometime this week and hopefully crank out a bunch of much needed features.



Finally, we are slowly beginning to transition our photos away from Gallery to Flickr. We're sick of trying to keep Gallery up to date and Flickr seems fun and easy so we're running with it. You can see our Xmas photos here.
