[Moriah] Mya's Shower & School

Well, I've had quite the busy last few weeks! I spent lots of time with my mom putting together a bridal shower for my sister's wedding that's coming up on June 19th! The shower was a lot of fun. We ended up playing some games, laughing a lot and eating some great food! My mom and I made a fruit platter, a meat and cheese tray, a cracker and bread basket, and a 7-layer salad. I made a fabulous chocolate flourless torte and a cheesecake, complete with the fixin's. I also set out some of the delicious hand-made bread that I made in my Breads and Rolls class at school. Mmmm mmm... I was glad that everyone enjoyed the fun and food. I was also glad we actually surprised Mya, since she is so hard to sneak anything past! Anyway, it was a great time. Though, I'm looking even more forward to the great time her wedding is going to be! I just know she'll be a most beautiful bride! :) Congratulations, Mya!

Now that the shower is over, I've been focusing on the last big projects and tests of the school year, as well as practicing the duet I'm playing for Sarah's recital. I have four weeks and one day of this semester left! Of course, I don't have much to look forward to as I have to attend summer school. :P But, I will only have one more full semester in fall. Once spring hits, I will have one class left and then I will graduate! (And hopefully Daniel will as well.) Then he and I can finally leave this hell-hole of a place people call Wisconsin. Until then, I'll just count down the days until graduation and continue planning where we'll go once we've reached that point. For now, I bid you all adieu.
