[Moriah] Bye Mom, Dad & Bean!
This past weekend was a whirl of activity for my family. After spending a very nice Thanksgiving dinner with my parents and brother, Daniel and I helped my parents pack for their move to Texas. We finished everything up Sunday night around 7:00 PM and then took them to Sergio's one last time. We had a nice dinner and then had to say our farewells. Hopefully it won't be too long until we see them again. It was hard to see them off and we said a small prayer on the way home to wish them a safe journey to their new home. I sure wish I was going along with them! I would give anything to move back to the south. (sigh)In other news, apparently there have been more attacks on the natural health industry as far as supplements are concerned, specifically Vitamin C this time. This is all a bunch of crap, as the Codex Alimentarius Commission is trying to scare the public away from natural health remedies in order to increase profits for big pharmaceutical companies. It's all a conspiracy, as is everything government-related. As for the "study" done on Vitamin C and diabetic women, there were several flaws with the research that swayed it to a negative conclusion about the supplement, including a multitude of factors that were not taken into consideration. A quote from my natural health newsletter today: "When our medical researchers start to make our weathermen look accurate, we know we're in trouble."
With that, I'm off to bed. Good night all, and safe travels Mom, Dad and Bean!
