[Daniel] First Pet Sitting Job!

I have my first pet sitting job booked! I am very excited. I will be sitting for 3 cats. I went to meet the cats yesterday and they are quite cute. I also got a call for a potential second booking from a woman who lives in our apartment complex. She has a chihuahua. I hope she calls back and books with me! She said she noticed my pet sitting signs in the car windows so I know those are working. It looks like things are going to pick up for both Daniel and me down here. I'm so happy! :)

Just to give a taste of what our weather has been like since we got here and what this week is looking like. :D

[Daniel] Gainfully Employed

I am now gainfully employed after a misunderstanding with the intial company. Tomorrow is the first day of work. Hopefully it will go well.

[Daniel] New Apartment In Austin

The new apartment is great. Aside from the difficult time we had getting in, every aspect is good. Spacious, comfy, cool, safe and a nice view. Plus the pool is great too. :D



In other fantastic news, we have phone and DSL going. No more dialup and it is nice! It's nice to be able to use the phone and still surf the web. Nice for downloading large files as well.



Still no luck finding a job but options are slowly opening. We're also busy trying to get Moriah's business going, which is proving similarly interesting.



That's it for my inspiration for the night. I probably won't update much for awhile as I have several projects I am working on and need to focus on to getting them done.

[Moriah] We're In Austin!

We're here! We've arrived safely in Austin and are all moved in...well, almost. Check out the pictures of our new apartment in our Photo Gallery.
