[Moriah] Sadness

Today has been a sad day for the Lindsley family. We will all miss Misty. She was such a special family member. I hope she's up there somewhere playing alongside Taffy. We'll see you again someday.

[Daniel] Goodbye, Friend.

Friday morning, I said goodbye to one of the most true, best friends I have ever had. Her loyalty and devotion to my parents (and our family) could not be matched. She will be missed greatly.

[Moriah] Happy Birthday To Me!

Happy birthday to me! So, the big 22 hits. Eh. I don't feel any different. I'm too busy to feel any different. But apparently Daniel has a surprise for my birthday that I will find out this afternoon. Until then, I have to wait. I did get a small "birthday present" Wednesday night, though. We went to Waterfest here in town and saw Reel Big Fish live, along with several other ska/punk bands. It was really cool. It's nice to get out and hear live music once in a while. Makes me wish I was still a professional musician... :( (sigh)



Anyway, I'm tired and will head off to bed shortly. I'm going to sleep in on my birthday morning. Ahhhh, how I love to sleep late. I don't know when my surprise is supposed to happen, so until it does I will open the cards I received from family and the gift I received from my aunt. I hope everyone has a wonderful day. I'm sure I will! G'night all.

[Daniel] Small Steps Forward

Alright, small steps forward. First off, the poll is back and I believe working correctly. Should have a new one up tomorrow sometime. Second, we now have an online photo gallery that includes pictures from our trip out to Denver. The software comes from the Gallery team and is open source. :D



As mentioned before, I'm still working to try to bring in Moriah's little present. I'll get that up as soon as it's ready.



And finally, you are all DOOMED! I am very happy, especially after waiting 4 years on this one. Now if only they'd hurry up with the Mac port. (Sigh)

[Daniel] Slow Rebuild

As you can tell, at least the main page is back. I'm working on getting the images and whatnot back up on the site. It's a long, slow process over dialup. :(



That aside, I'm liking the new apartment very much. Haven't gotten any pictures yet but those will come soon. In addition to that, we've got some more new stuff in store for Snow-Wolf, including something really big on Moriah's side. It involves her anniversary gift from me, which you will all hopefully see soon. No promises on a time-frame though.

[Moriah] Sick

What a day. After calling in sick due to terrible dizziness and a very upset stomach, I spent most of the day sleeping and feeling crappy. I'm a little better now, but still a bit queasy.



However, I did enjoy eating a tasty homemade chocolate chip cookie a few minutes ago from the batch I made last night...in my new KitchenAid Mixer!!! :D I'll get a picture of it put up soon, but for now suffice to say that it is AWESOME! I've always wanted one. It was a gift from my parents for our 2-year anniversary/my 22nd birthday. Although I feel it was also a gift from my loving husband, as he wanted to give it to me for my birthday next year but we didn't have the money this year. The thought is what counts. Awww... Thank you all!

Two years ago today I married the love of my life, Daniel. Nothing could have made me happier. He is my love, my soulmate, my best friend, and more.

[Moriah] Busy Couple Weeks

Wow, what a rush these last few weeks have been! I can't believe how fast the time has gone. Mya and Stewart's wedding was just beautiful! We had a wonderful time and got to meet a lot of Stewart's family. What a sweet bunch!



Since then, I've been working, going to school, preparing to stand up in one of our friend's wedding from high school, moving to our new apartment, and other miscellaneous stuff. Talk about a busy summer!



In fact, I have to head off to bed very quickly here since I have school in the morning. Blah. I'll be very happy when I'm finished. Anyway, I'll catch up with everyone later. G'night.
