[Moriah] Lawrence Recital

So here I am, resting after playing in yesterday's recital at Lawrence University. It went well and I had a lot of fun playing. It's been a long time since I've been on stage, so it was nice to be back "home." I would love to be able to be a performer again, but right now that dream doesn't seem possible. Maybe someday my tendinitis will heal enough for me to live my dream. We'll see.



27 days until Mya's wedding! I am so excited to go. :D We will be leaving for Denver on June 16th. I love road trips! This should be one fun time. Also, I get to play my flute again! I'm sure it'll be the most beautiful wedding ever. I think I'm counting down the days as much as Mya is!



Well, I'm going to go now. I'm reading an interesting book, so it's back to it. Talk to you all later.

[Daniel] It's Happy Fun New Apartment Time!

In addition to all the other hectic/new stuff (Moriah's car & health, her new job, the weddings and the World Series) going on, we're going to be moving to a new apartment at the end of June. Should be interesting as it's an improvement on space for a cheaper rent so it ought to be good. And Moriah loves the new, L-shaped kitchen.

[Daniel] Moriah & Car Accidents

For those who haven't heard yet, Moriah was in a car accident last night. She was rear-ended by two idiots, one, not paying attention and the other tailgating. She's alright, but the ER diagnosed her with whiplash so she's gotta take it easy the next couple days. As for the car, it still runs/works but the fender looks like origami and there is some other minor damage. Not the greatest thing to happen in the middle of exam week. Hope everyone else is doing well.

[Moriah] Long Day

What's up, people? I'm just chillin' here at the apartment, soon to be heading to bed. I've had a long day. I spent 10 hours on my feet at work with no break for lunch or anything. Let me tell you how much fun that was. (sarcasm spills) But after a tasty dinner of a grilled veggie burger and canned beets, prepared by my WONDERFUL husband, I feel much better. :) Thank you, Daniel! You're the best!



Anyway, I don't have much else at the moment, but I'm hoping I'll have time soon to update my section of the site. I have two weeks of the semester left, so maybe when I'm finished I can do something cool with it. Until then, thanks to all of you who check my section. Awww...someone cares. :)
