[Daniel] 37 Days Left
Took one of my midterms today and am taking a break from studying for the one I have for COBOL II tomorrow. Speaking of which, kudos to anyone who can think of a language more pathologically stupid than COBOL because nothing comes to mind for me. Even assembler is more pleasant in my mind. At least you don't have to worry about forming a proper paragraph in assembly.I spoke to the gentleman that runs the UW-O MUG today. I've long wanted to attend the meetings and hang out with the other Mac users on campus but there just isn't time. (Sigh)
Anyway, back to the grind...

[Daniel] Lombard Power Saga
Bleeding Pisser. The Lombard saga continues. After purchasing the wrong adapter on eBay a week ago, finding and purchasing a correct one and then receiving it yesterday, I find that a new adapter DID NOT fix the problem. Re-ripped apart the Lombard and attempted to bend out the connectors inside the power plug. Put it all back together...nothing solved. (Cry)So we're going to continue to use the old adapter and keep the new one on reserve in case the old one gives out. I guess I'll be spending my time trying to sell the wrong adapter and searching around for a replacement power port. (Double Sigh)
Finally, big changes have been made to my page. I feel stupid for changing my mind so late in the saving process but these benchmarks have caused me to reconsider.

[Moriah] Soon It Will Be Daily Posts...
Here I am updating AGAIN within three months! :) I'm just sitting here not doing much of anything on my last night of Spring Break. I'm avoiding the fact that I have to do the dishes. We just had an interesting downpoura few minutes ago that shut out the electricity. Good thing we weren't out on a walk or we'd have gotten drenched! Anyway, I'm done with my homework so I'm going to go play a game with Daniel or something. Hey, if we can't
afford to go on a Spring Break vacation to some nice, hot tropical island for a week, at least we can eat ice cream on the couch together and play Yatzee or Trivial Pursuit...for the millionth time. (sigh)

[Moriah] Excitement!
Wow, it's been a long time since I've updated! I thought I better add something. I just finished a baking final today. What a disaster. I was supposed to make a strawberry kiwi tart with an apricot glaze, but ended upmaking a cantaloupe honeydew tart with a strawberry glaze because the ingredients I asked for last week got used up in the kitchen for lunch. Oy. But I made it through with an A anyway. Now I'm done with that class and I'm going into Breads and Rolls for the last part of the semester. Yay!
In other news, one of the greatest people in the world, Sarah Matthews my roommate and fellow flute performance major from Lawrence University, asked me to play a duet with her for her senior recital in May!!! I couldn't believe it. We're going to start rehearsing Wednesday. I can't express how excited I am. Thank you Sarah!!! You are so awesome! :D
Speaking of music, I got to see a great blues band tonight at the Scott Street Pub in Wausau (they were called the Scott Holt Band), courtesy of Eric Sturm's birthday. I had a blast, even though we didn't stay too long.
I guess I'll be going now. Hopefully I'll update again soon. Nothing like going from Christmas Break to Spring Break without updating, huh? I'll see what I can do. Until then, have a great day! :D

[Daniel] Laptop In Pieces
Tore apart the entire Lombard, learned a lot about the hardware inside but had no success attempting to fix the problem. I do think that it is not the power port that is bent and I am back to thinking the adapter is the problem. (Sigh)
